Stoicism is an ancient philosophy focussed on rationality, resilience and taking things as they come. You can see its influence throughout philosophy, self-help books, athletes and more. Many people use it as a guide for a life, a source of inspiration and intelligent teachings of strength. This course is ideal if you feel you - lack structure or meaning. - struggle with poor habits or addictions. - don’t believe you are very happy but are unsure why. - Want guidance with your goals but aren’t sure where to look. The course comprises of a set of modules, briefly covering who the Stoics were, to what they taught and how we can use those teachings in our daily lives today. You’ll be assessed on the knowledge throughout, and it’s recommended you note down the ‘key points’ at the end of each chapter.
